Throughout my life, and extensively through my career at the University of Washington, I have continually nurtured what I considered to be 'leadership' traits. To do so, I became 'involved,' I joined clubs, organizations, and even co-founded a fraternity on campus. Interestingly, it was through these various experiences and The Husky Leadership Certificate program that I began to analyze and synthesize what 'being a leader' really means to me. I took what I thought was leadership, bestowed through titles and positions, into my current understanding of leadership as both an innate ability and a skill requiring constant vigilance to develop meaningfully. Below are a few examples of this growth both inside and outside of the classroom, follow the links to learn more!
